Shanghai Hongtian Huichuan Elderly Care Service Center is a "medical care combined with elderly care" type of public-built and privately-operated medical institution, invested and constructed by the Huichuan District Government of Zunyi City, and operated by Shanghai Hongtian Elderly Care Investment Co., Ltd. It is the only institution in Guizhou Province that has been included in the national second batch of 116 public-built and privately-operated nursing home reform pilot units. Located at the Hailongtun Road near the Zunxi intersection in the Huichuan District, which is convenient for transportation, it covers an area of 11,500 square meters with a construction area of 9,550 square meters. It is a U-shaped comprehensive building, divided into three areas, A, B, and C, with a total of 305 certified beds, including 50 government-subsidized elderly care beds, which prioritize services for urban "three no" elderly (no children, no income, no ability), low-income elderly, and economically disadvantaged disabled or semi-disabled elderly.

Since the signing of the cooperation and entrustment management agreement in February 2017, the nursing home began a trial operation in early July 2017 and started to accommodate the elderly. The center currently has an elderly care management team led by a senior dean from Shanghai, equipped with professional doctors, nursing, and caregiving teams. The elderly admitted to the hospital are assessed for the level of care and provided with standardized medical and living care, implementing a 24-hour shift system. The center has also signed a "Green Channel Agreement for Referring Patients" with Guizhou Aerospace Hospital and a "Medical Technology Cooperation Agreement" with the First People's Hospital of Zunyi City, ready to treat any emergencies of the residents at any time.

The center has a beautiful environment and complete facilities, equipped with fully functional departments and rehabilitation therapy areas, standardized elderly care wards, and equipped with entertainment centers, meditation rooms, table tennis rooms, handicraft rooms, chess and card rooms, calligraphy and painting reading rooms, outdoor rehabilitation fitness equipment areas, gateball courts, public kitchens, and other places. Every day, the elderly are organized to do hand exercises, morning exercises, and rehabilitation fitness activities in the morning; singing, chess, card games, games, and other recreational activities in the afternoon. Weekly, the elderly are organized to have karaoke in the multifunctional hall, play the piano, handicraft classes, calligraphy and painting, watch nostalgic movies, and other activities; organize collective birthday celebrations and festival celebrations for each elderly person. It has created a safer, more comfortable, thoughtfully served, and caring home for the healthy life of the elderly.
